Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, Connecticut's ONLY zoo.
The zoo is important to our community by
providing an educational, informative, and fun
family time. The zoo also provides
invaluable work in conserving many of the world's
endangered species through its membership in
breeding programs. From the breeding of Timber
Wolves, Mexican Wolves and the Siberian Tiger down
to Poison Dart Frogs, the Zoo protects and defends
ecosystems throughout the world.
By supporting the Connecticut Zoological Society (CZS),
you help us share the wonders of animals and nature with the more that 250,000 visitors
annually both at the Zoo and around the state and region through our outreach efforts.
